Jon has been working in the health and fitness industry for several years, driven by a lifelong passion for sport and exercise.

That passion led him to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Edinburgh Napier University in 2015. During his time at university, Jon began coaching, earning his Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification in 2013 and leading bootcamp-style fitness classes. Just a year later, he qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer, launching his 1-to-1 coaching career—which he has continued ever since.

Dedicated to expanding his knowledge and offering more to his clients, Jon achieved his Level 4 Strength and Conditioning qualification in 2017, equipping him to coach Olympic lifts. In 2019, he completed the Level 1 Precision Nutrition certification, which opened the door to online coaching—allowing him to support clients near and far with tailored training and nutritional guidance.

Jon’s coaching philosophy is grounded in long-term health and wellbeing. He believes a coach’s role extends far beyond delivering sessions or programmes—it’s about educating clients so they can maintain and build on their progress independently. Whether it's adjusting goals for sustainability or focusing on healthier habits over short-term aesthetics, Jon always puts his clients' overall wellbeing first.

Alongside coaching, Jon maintains a high level of personal performance. As a professional wrestler, he balances the demands of training, nutrition, and recovery to stay in peak condition. In 2019, he also stepped into the world of bodybuilding, competing in the Men’s Physique category, with plans to return to the stage. Outside the gym, his passion for football remains strong—he still plays regularly at a recreational level.
