Growing up and when I was in both primary and high school I hated PE, sports and anything to do with fitness. It wasn’t until 10 years or so ago that I decided I needed to make changes to help me manage my anxiety so I reluctantly joined the gym.

My passion for health and fitness grew as I started to see and feel the benefits of exercise on both the mind and the body. My shape changed but most importantly for me I could manage my anxiety, my confidence grew and I felt more settled and happier within myself.

I am now so passionate about getting other people moving and exercising as a way of supporting their health and wellbeing. Trying to understand the mind and how it works I completed a Diploma in Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy as part of my personal development. It fascinates me how much control we can have over our mind and make positive changes to our thought patterns and behaviours.

Linking this with personal training I can offer a holistic approach that supports both the physical and mental.
